Which tax return course on DVD should I take?
Self assessment process will depend on what type of income you have received during the tax year. There are three courses available to buy at the moment, which cover five different types of income plus there is one course for tax agent which includes all three courses in one and additional information required for tax agents:

- Self Assessment for Property Letting & Property Selling (Capital Gains Tax)
- Self Assessment for Employment, Directorship & Dividends
- Self Assessment for Tax Agent/Adviser
You should choose the course according to what type of income you had, however if you are receiving income from several different sources you may need to go through two or even all three courses to complete the knowledge required for your case.
If you are aiming to become a tax agent you will no doubt be required to know how to complete self assessment for each income type or combinations of income types as you would not know what types of clients you may have. Therefore you should choose the tax course for agent.

Who is HMRC agent?
An HMRC agent is a person who can act on behalf of other people solving their tax issues. Agents can return their client's taxes into their bank accounts deduct their fee and transfer money to the client's account.
Who can become an HMRC agent?
Anyone who is eligible to stay and work in the UK.
It is always an advantage to know how to do Self Assessment/Tax Return for your self and even better to be an agent so you can complete Tax Returns for others around you and earn money by providing good service.
To be a tax adviser you will need to have two things: first people around you who know and trust you and would like you to help them returning their tax. Second is the knowledge of how to complete and submit Tax Returns for other people. If you have the first we can give the second.
